Back in July, we showed you some out-of-the-box invitations, which were so clever and imaginative, we loved them. Today, we bring you some wonderfully unique save the dates! Most couples send out a traditional note, often in the style of a post card, but there are so many possibilities with this aspect of your wedding to show some of your personality and make your note stand out. So, branch out from the old ways and get a little creative with yours!
Take a look at these nontraditional ideas for save the dates and get inspired to put a little bit of what you love into your own!
Magnet - The typical refrigerator is usually covered in all of your most important reminders because of its use in everyday life. Therefore, having the save the date being a magnet is one of the best possible ideas. Your guests will undoubtedly put it up on their refrigerator and get more excited as the big day approaches!

Show tickets – Love movies or sports? Style your save the dates in the style of an admission ticket. This is light-hearted and entertaining, especially with how strikingly similar they can look to a real ticket!

Puzzle – A simple 4 or 6 piece puzzle (don’t include more pieces – it will be annoying for your guests to expend the energy) is a fun little game to give your guests that will get them talking about the excitement of the big day!

Floppy disk – Remember when this was how we really had to save things?! Thankfully that time has passed, but that doesn’t mean we have to drop the floppy disk completely! Now, as a save the date, this can be a funny nod to the past that your guests will certainly enjoy.

Decoder – Bring in a common feature of many board games: the decoder. Like the puzzle, it’s a little work for your guests, but a great way to be unique and get your guests excited about how awesome all of the rest of the details of your wedding will be!
